David Levine

David is an energetic entrepreneur with a track record of high-value business development deal-making.

Most recently, David was the Global Director for Automotive Telematics at Vodafone, following a career as International BD Director at INRIX (ITIS Holdings Plc.) where he was responsible for the sale and delivery of leading-edge technology projects to the likes of BMW, Toyota, Audi, Nissan and Hyundai-Kia. He spent 7 years working for the Office of the CTO at HP, specifically on innovative projects incubated outside of the standard business-unit structure.

He has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Manchester and an MBA from the Manchester Business School.

Martin has a PhD in Computer Vision from the University of Manchester. He specialises in developing robust machine learning applications for solving real-world computer vision tasks.

His work to date includes the development of models for marker-less human motion tracking to recognise sign-language, which resulted in publications at leading conferences in computer vision and machine learning.

Mike has spent over a decade in the Connected Car Industry building and managing very large scale, multi-geography IT systems that are highly resilient and tolerant.

He has managed Global Platforms for the likes of BMW, Audi and Toyota.

Mike has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Wales, UK.

Head of Product

James has over 15 years experience in software development as both a lead developer and product manager. He has been involved in delivering successful projects for a wide of range of companies and organisations including British Swimming, William Hill, Hasselblad, Breville and the British Mountaineering Council.

He has a strong technical background, including a degree in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, but his real passion is for creating beautiful digital products that meet business goals and that users love.

Mike sits in a non-executive capacity on the boards of a number of high-growth privately owned and private equity backed businesses in the technology and services sectors. He is chairman of internet retailer CurrentBody.com, contract review software specialist STETfast and leading consumer law firm, McMillan Williams, which is backed by BGF.

During his executive career, Mike held a number of senior management positions including main Board roles at FTSE 250 level.

He comes from a legal background originally, having been a corporate partner at national law firms Addleshaw Goddard and Pinsent Masons.

Stuart Marks

Stuart Marks is a serial entrepreneur who has built and sold four businesses over the past 25 years. They have spanned several sectors including CRM, location-based services and digital media.

Stuart has worked with a diverse and international customer-base including Sainsbury’s, British Airways, Unilever, Vodafone, BMW and various Government agencies across the world.

His most recent exit was ITIS Holdings plc in 2011. The company was listed on the LSE and was Europe’s leading provider of real time traffic information and connected car technology and was the first company to commercialise crowd sourced data from GPS devices and mobile phone networks. In 2003, ITIS acquired Estimotion, an Israeli LBS specialist and subsequently all R&D was done in Herzliya, with a team of twenty three engineers and software experts.

In 2012, Stuart set up the L Marks investment fund and L Marks now consolidates his many investments and manages corporate innovation and venture projects. Amongst these, L Marks manages and co invests in John Lewis’s JLAB retail technology incubator, DPD’s Last Mile Labs and WH Labs by William Hill.

Graham Clempson

Graham Clempson has over 30 years of experience in the Private Equity and Credit Markets, from the development of the European Leveraged Finance and High Yield Markets and as a principal in many of the largest Complex Secondary Private Equity Transactions over the past decade.

In partnership with Coller Capital, Graham is Chairman of 3 Private Equity Funds in the UK, US and France, and serves as an Advisory Board member to MidOcean Partners (US) and Pearl Diver Capital (UK).

Prior to founding Quartic Capital, Graham was Co-Founder and European Managing Partner of MidOcean Partners, and DB Capital Partners, and CEO of Morgan Grenfell Private Equity, following roles as Co-head of European Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust Company.

Graham is Chairman of Pilotlight (www.pilotlight.org.uk) , a business mentoring Charity in the UK. He has an MA in Law from Oxford University
